The Newtown, Bucks County, Joint Municipal Authority (NBCJMA) was incorporated as an Authority pursuant to the Municipal Authorities Act in May of 1961.

For almost 60 years the NBCJMA has been serving Newtown Township and Newtown Borough for their respective sanitary sewer needs. NBCJMA’s system consists of 103 miles of gravity sewers and 2,640 manholes; serving approximately 9,000 customers and maintains 5 wastewater pumping station, 8 metering sites and more than 50 easements in the Newtown area.
